1. Apply your sensor
Before connecting anything, make sure your sensor is properly applied to your arm or abdomen and sticking well. You can follow the steps here on how to properly apply it.
2. Open the Nico app
Once your sensor is on, open the Nico app on your phone. If this is your first time using the app, you’ll be guided through a short setup and registration process.
3. Make sure Bluetooth is enabled
The app relies on Bluetooth to detect your sensor. If Bluetooth was off, turn it on and return to the app.
4. Start the pairing process
Tap on the profile icon in the top right corner of your home screen
Tap on "Energy Sensor"
You'll see a screen prompting you to enter the sensor's serial number (this can be found on the sensor box)
Once you enter the serial number, tap on "Pair Device" and your sensor will be paired and will start warming up (this takes about 1 hour on average)
5. You're connected!
Once warmup ends, your real-time glucose readings will start appearing on your home screen.
💡 Tip:
If the app can’t find your sensor right away, restart the app and try again while keeping your phone close by
